Raidcrown is a game about raiding each other's castles. Out-think your rivals, steal their Crowns and enjoy a little gloating. Just keep it about the game. These guidelines apply to House chat, player names, House names and descriptions, reinforcement requests and anything else other players can see. They are part of our Terms of Service.
Be decent
- No harassment or bullying. Don't insult, threaten, stalk or repeatedly target another player. Banter about a raid is fine; attacks on a person are not.
- No hate. No slurs or attacks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or any similar characteristic.
- No threats of violence, and never encourage anyone to harm themselves.
- No sexual content. Raidcrown is for players aged 13 and over.
- Zero tolerance for child exploitation. Never post, request or share anything that sexualises or exploits a child, and never try to groom a young player. We remove it, ban the account permanently and report it to the authorities.
- Lead fairly. Lords and Stewards can run their House as they like, but removing or demoting someone is never a reason to harass them.
Keep yourself and others safe
- Don't share personal information: real names, addresses, phone numbers, schools, social media accounts or photos, yours or anyone else's.
- Never share your account. Raidcrown staff will never ask for your Google password or sign-in codes.
- Don't arrange to meet people from the game in person. If someone makes you uncomfortable, block and report them, and tell someone you trust.
Keep chat useful
- No spam, advertising or links. Chat filters hide links, and sending lots of messages in a short time is limited.
- No real-money trading. Don't buy, sell or trade accounts, items or services for money.
- No impersonation of other players, Houses or Raidcrown staff.
- Nothing illegal, and no encouraging illegal activity.
Names and House descriptions
Player names, House names and House descriptions follow the same rules as chat. They may not be offensive, sexual or hateful, impersonate someone, or advertise anything. Our filters refuse many bad names automatically, and we may reset any name or description that breaks these rules.
Play fair
Cheats, bots, modified clients, exploiting bugs, trading wins and sharing accounts are against the rules. Our Fair Play page explains how we keep battles honest.
Your tools
Tap a player's name or a chat message to:
- Report it. Your report, with the reason you choose (offensive language, spam, offensive name, cheating or something else), goes to our moderators. The other player is not told who reported them.
- Mute the player, which hides their messages from you.
- Block the player, which hides their messages and stops them inviting you to a House.
You can also leave a House at any time. False or abusive reports are themselves against these guidelines.
What happens when rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is and whether it has happened before, we may:
- warn you;
- mute your chat for a period;
- reset your player name or House description;
- suspend your account for a period;
- ban your account permanently.
Automated filters and flags help us find problems, but a person reviews every case before an account is banned. We may report serious threats or illegal content to the authorities.
Appeals
If you think we got it wrong, appeal through our Support page (topic "Ban appeal") or email support@raidcrown.com with your player tag. We review every appeal and tell you the outcome.
