What is Raidcrown?
Raidcrown is a strategy game for Android phones. Players build a castle on an island, train a small army and raid other players' castles in 3-minute battles, trying to steal a Crown and carry it back to their boats. The combat is cartoon fantasy: chunky knights, catapults and towers, with no blood or gore. Players can join a House, a team of players with its own text chat.
The game is free to play. Optional in-app purchases buy gems (used to speed up timers and for cosmetic items), cosmetic skins and a monthly Season Pass. Everything that affects battles can also be earned by playing.
Age limit
Raidcrown is for players aged 13 and over. When the game is first started, it asks for the player's birth year and month. Anyone under 13 sees a neutral screen and can't continue. We never store a date of birth: for players aged 13 to 17 we keep only the date they turn 18, to apply the spending limit.
Spending limits and purchase controls
- Players aged 13 to 17 can spend at most US$50 (or the local equivalent) per calendar month. Our servers enforce the limit, so it applies on every device. The Store shows how much is left.
- All purchases go through Google Play. In the Play Store settings you can require authentication (a password, PIN or fingerprint) for every purchase, and with Google Family Link you can approve purchases yourself. See Google's guide to parental controls on Google Play.
- Every price is shown in your local currency before purchase. The game's Store has a purchase history.
- We don't sell random rewards, the Season Pass never renews by itself, and we don't show offers straight after a lost battle.
Chat and safety
The only chat in Raidcrown is House chat, between members of the same House. There is no private messaging and no voice chat.
- Chat messages, player names and House descriptions pass through profanity and link filters.
- Any player or message can be reported, muted or blocked from the player's name. Reports go to our moderators, and a person reviews every case before an account is banned.
- Our Community Guidelines ban harassment, hate, sexual content and sharing personal information.
- Players can leave a House at any time. Chat messages are deleted after 90 days.
It's worth talking with your teen about keeping personal details private, never sharing their account, and telling you if someone makes them uncomfortable.
Getting a refund
Because payments go through Google Play, refunds are handled by Google Play:
- Open your Google Play order history while signed in to the Google account that made the purchase.
- Find the Raidcrown purchase and choose to request a refund or report a problem.
- Follow the steps. Requests made soon after a purchase are usually handled quickly.
Google's refund guide also covers purchases made without your permission. If you need help, email billing@raidcrown.com with the order number (it starts with GPA.). When a purchase is refunded, what it granted is removed from the account.
Deleting your teen's account
In the game, open Settings › Account › Delete my account. Deletion happens after a 14-day grace period, during which it can be cancelled. Without the game, use our account deletion page with the player tag (shown in Settings), or email privacy@raidcrown.com. Uninstalling the game does not delete the account.
Privacy
We collect only what the game needs, we don't sell personal information and we don't show ads. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
