We have been testing Raidcrown on real phones, and a lot has changed on the way to launch. Here is what's new.

A much longer road

The Keep now has 10 levels. Troops train up to level 10, changing their gear as they go, the Marshal goes up to level 35, and each piece of his gear to level 6.

From Keep 7 the Keep itself changes material at every level: red roofs, then white marble, then black basalt with burning windows, and finally gold, with a crown above the highest tower.

Quests

Every day you get 3 quests, and every week 3 more, a different set for each player. Finish them all for a bonus. Missed a day? Nothing is lost: the board simply turns over.

An event every Monday

Four events take turns, each with a track of 4 rewards you earn just by playing:

  • Raid Week: every raid pays 25% more loot, paid by the game, not the defender.
  • Drill Week: one spotlighted troop trains at 50% off and 50% faster.
  • Masons' Festival: everything builds 20% faster.
  • Crown Heist: escaping with the Crown pays 100% more ransom.

Events are free and the same for everyone. Our fair-play page has the details.

A new look

The whole island has been repainted: real blades of grass that move in the wind, a sea that catches the sun, soft shadows, stone, wood and slate with real surface detail, and fire and smoke that take hold as a base falls.

Every kind of building now has its own materials, so you can read a base at a glance: a red-brick Barracks, a soot-black Forge, a Mana Well in violet stone and silver, a Longbow Tower in honey stone under a green roof.

Smarter troops

  • The Ram Crew goes deep. It now drives for the heart of the base and smashes only the walls in its way, opening a road for everyone behind it.
  • No more hammering at a wall beside a gap. When a wall falls, troops breaking another one look again and take the new way in.
  • The Marshal stands guard. While he isn't out raiding, he defends your base from the Marshal's Hall, and he now towers over his troops.

Also new

  • Keep three saved base layouts, and ask for a suggested one.
  • Build or upgrade a whole stretch of wall in one go.
  • Tap a defense to see its range, or a storage to see what it holds.
  • Finish troop training early with gems.
  • Health bars over troops and buildings in battle.
