Rise of Kingdoms: Lost Crusade from Lilith Games and Lords Mobile: Kingdom Wars from IGG are two of the biggest medieval strategy games on mobile. Both are 4X games: you build a city on a huge shared map, march armies across it in real time, and fight wars as part of an alliance or guild. Raidcrown, coming soon to Android, is a different kind of strategy game, and it is worth knowing which kind you are looking for.

If you want a living world

4X games shine when you want your actions to matter on a shared map: alliances negotiate, territory changes hands and a war can last days. Rise of Kingdoms adds historical civilizations and commanders, and Lords Mobile adds a cast of heroes and guild battles. If that is what you want, either is a great choice.

If you want a raid you can play right now

Raidcrown is about the raid itself. You scout a base for 30 seconds, then have 3 minutes to break in, find the real Crown Vault, grab the Crown and get it back to your boats. Every raid is self-contained, so you can play one on a bus, and your own base defends itself while you are away. Our Crown Heist guide explains the three marks.

Team play on your schedule

Raidcrown's Houses trade reinforcements, finish weekly House Quests and fight Feuds. A Feud starts with a muster phase, when each member sets a Feud base and sends reinforcements, then a 24-hour raid phase where every member has 3 attack tokens to spend whenever suits them.

Fair play

Our fair-play page lists exactly how matchmaking, boosts and the store work. There are no loot boxes or other random paid items, no ads, and the Season Pass speed bonus is the only boost, switched off in Feuds and the Crown League.

Which one should you play?

Pick Rise of Kingdoms or Lords Mobile for a sprawling, always-on kingdom war. Pick Raidcrown for tight, self-contained heists and a base you design to fool raiders. Raidcrown is coming soon to Android. Join the newsletter to hear the day it launches.
